It was narrated from Abu Moosa (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said:

On the Day of Resurrection, some of the Muslims will come with sins like mountains, but Allah will forgive them and will put them (the sins) onto the Jews and Christians.”

- [Sahih Muslim #2767]

"For us to be able to come in 2014 and praise Ali ibn Abi Talib on a pulpit is a miracle in itself. Without a doubt, the most vilified man and the victim of the most severe smear campaign in the history of Islam is Ali ibn Abi Talib. There is no figure in the history of this religion who has been the victim of propaganda, the victim of hatred, the victim of ridicule, the victim of envy like Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib."

A Muslim is not considered as a wise person unless you observe ten characteristics in him:

1. People are hopeful of his kindness and benevolence;

2. People feel secure from his enmity and wickedness;

3. Even slight kindnesses of people are considered as important ones by him;

4. He may underscore his own kindness and good works;

5. He never feels or expresses his tiredness or unhappiness upon the needs and requests of the people;

6. Never, in his whole life, does he leave education and knowledge;

7. He prefers poverty in the way of God over wealth for himself;

8. He prefers modesty in the ways of God over pride and arrogance before God’s enemy.

9. He prefers anonymity over renown and popularity.

10. If he meets anyone, he considers him to be better and more pious than himself.
